This course has been designed to provide an insight as to how Kevin photographs a wedding. This will enable photographers new to the profession to understand just what is expected from them on the day to provide a memorable album for the Bride and Groom which they can look back on in years to come without disappointment.
From the home visit covering the preparations, including detail photographs which add spice to the album, on to the venue for the arrival of guests. Portraits of the groomsmen and the grooms parents, using available light in combination with a relaxed natural feel.
Discussion of available light techniques which will instil confidence and add a dimension to the covering of the wedding. Use of appropriate location and backgrounds combined with the correct lens choice as well as the benefits of shooting RAW with an effective colour management system in place.
Kevin will show delegates how he uses a combination of reflectors to obtain stunning results. How to see and bend light to suit your subject. A professional model will be present on the day for delegates to take practice shots based on what they have learnt.
Kevin will also discuss group shots that are essential and will not cause too much distress to the couple through taking over their celebrations and how to get the portraits without looking like you are taking over the day.
The day is geared towards photographers who have just turned professional through to qualified members in other fields wishing to take up wedding photography. It is also suitable for existing wedding photographers wanting to brush up on their skills and latest techniques. |
