This course is ideal for those who want to learn lighting techniques that are both essential for fashion work but can also be used across a variety of disciplines including wedding and portrait work.
The day will consist of a grounding in the theory and practice of studio lighting using a variety of setups and investigating the equipment and accessories needed for particular lighting effects.
These techniques will then be expanded upon and utilised on location so that the basic principles of lighting can be demystified and shown in a practical but dynamic way.
Additional aspects of photographing fashion such as working with models and hair and makeup artists will also be covered.
Delegates are encouraged to bring their own cameras so that they can produce reference images for their future benefit.
Time will also be allowed for appraisal of portfolios and for individual questions.
The aim of the day is to provide delegates with the knowledge and confidence to start developing their individual skills and to build their own lighting style |
