BIPP Academy Training Course - Wedding

Your Day

Pete will start the day by running through a typical wedding showing the special techniques needed at each stage including the posing of the Bride and Groom, groups and the correct use of flash as a main or fill source, together with the use of reflectors.

The afternoon will then be spent on location, subject to the weather with a professional model. Pete will also discuss presenting your work and the services you offer. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask Pete questions throughout the day.

The day is geared towards photographers who have just turned professional through to qualified members in other fields wishing to take up wedding photography. It is also suitable for existing wedding photographers wanting to brush up on their skills and latest techniques.

Your Tutor

Pete Bristo MBE, FBIPP is one of only a handful of members who have gained a Fellowship in two disciplines. Pete retired from the Army in 2004 having gained his first Fellowship in Press and PR and being awarded an MBE for Photographic Services in 1993.

Pete then made the difficult move from the forces to 'civiy street' and successfully gained his second Fellowship of the BIPP in Wedding Photography. Pete has won numerous awards for his photography including UK Creative Wedding Photographer of the Year 2008.

Pete is one of the busiest photographers in the business and also finds the time to tutor servicemen and women on how to successfully adapt to life after they leave the MOD.
