Join us for the BIPP Summer Training School from 7-10 July 2014 at our training facility in Buckinghamshire.

We have 5 inspiring tutors lined up, willing to share their knowledge and expertise and help you hone your skills.

Monday 7 July 2014 - The Basics of Portraiture: From People to Horses with Emily Hancock FBIPP
Based in the heart of the New Forest, and with over a decade of commercial experience, Emily Hancock has quickly become known for her beautiful photography and desirable fine art pieces. Her many years experience has made her one of the UK’s most distinguished equine photographers. This was recognised last year when Emily was awarded her Fellowship of the BIPP. From a young age Emily has loved horses and her strong bond with these creatures is translated into her photography, delivering beautiful, unique photographs that won her the title of BIPP South East Photographer of the Year 2012. Emily’s fine art collection has also made a huge impact in specialist photography press. Enjoy a day with Emily, getting to know more about her photographic journey, her style of photography, how she achieved her Fellowship qualification, and the challenges of working with horses. If circumstances permit, there will be a location shoot. The day will include a mix of talks, theory and an opportunity for a practical shoot, so please bring your camera equipment and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. Lunch will be provided so should you have any special dietary requirements please make it known when completing your booking. The day will start at 10.30am and finish at approximately 4.30pm.
