The Photography Show is now less than two months away and we can’t wait! Returning to the NEC, Birmingham on the 18-21 March, four days packed with technology, talks and networking events await to help you drive your business and your passion forward.

A destination for all image creators, The Photography Show will feature the latest kit available at great show prices from over 200 exhibitors including Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic, Sony, Profoto, MAC Group, Lowepro, The Flash Centre, Profoto, Epson and Manfrotto to name just a few. There’ll be new tech and innovation there too – from the latest 360° gear to apps and accessories that could be game-changers in the photography world. Keep an eye on the products on show to find out more.

There’s plenty on just for pros. You can spend time with colleagues; expand your network and share experiences at exclusive events, including our Happy Hours (Saturday and Sunday), our drinks reception (Monday eve) and the brand new Pro Lounge Live sessions which will focus on specific topics affecting the photography industry today. Details to follow – stay up to date with the latest pro photographer programmes. Don’t forget, you can access our Pro Lounge at any point throughout the show if you need a break from the excitement of the exhibition floor.

There’s also no shortage of opportunities to adopt new techniques and get business tips at the show; even as a professional photographer there’s always more to learn. Why not sign up for our Pro Conference to get crucial business advice for 2017, from pricing your images and valuing yourself to attracting new clients through personal projects? You can drop into free talks and demos on the Live Stage, featuring sessions on sports and action photography, a live catwalk show and a lighting masterclass from legendary photographer Joe McNally; the Behind the Lens Theatre, where you can find out how to make a name for yourself in photography or why you shouldn’t just ‘fit in’; or the Adobe Theatre to discover the latest tricks from the editing masters themselves.

New for this year is the Drone Zone; get handy tips on how to get great shots using this increasingly popular style of photography and video and understand the ins and outs of licensing to ensure you stay on the right side of the law; and the Virtual Reality & 360° Stage will give you a chance to take a look at how emerging technology could enhance your client services.

Last but not least, be inspired by one (or more!) of the Super Stage speakers, some of the greatest minds in photography. This year we have highly sought after photographer Albert Watson, exploring the stories behind his images, Nadav Kander opens up in an exclusive interview about his work which includes portraits of Barack Obama and Donald Trump, and Frans Lanting examines his dialogues with nature from the Amazon to Antarctica. Also joining the line-up are Magnum photographers Alex Webb and David Alan Harvey, as well as Jill Furmanovsky, Clive Arrowsmith, Julia Fullerton-Batten and Louis Cole.  Tickets are available at £10 per session (make sure you have your free entry pass beforehand).

It’s an event not to be missed by anyone in the photography industry - reveal the next step in your photography career at The Photography Show – see you there.

If you’re a professional photographer or a member of trade you can register for free here.*
