It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Fraser ABIPP on July 3rd 2013. He passed away peacefully in hospital after a short illness, at the age of 82.

James had been a member of the BIPP for fifty five years, joining in 1957 and achieving his Associateship in Education later that year. He served as BIPP President between 1976 and 1977.

His family would be very pleased to see all James’ friends and former colleagues at the funeral which will take place at 1.15pm on Tuesday, July 16th 2013 at St Benedict Biscop Church, in the centre of Wombourne, followed by cremation at Gornal Wood Crematorium at 2.10pm. Those attending either ceremony are welcome afterwards at a reception to celebrate his life at the Himley Country Hotel, Himley, near Wombourne. and the family would be most grateful, for catering purposes, to be informed if you wish to attend.

Flowers are welcome, or donations in his memory may be made instead to Cancer Research UK.

BIPP Head Office will provide the family contact details if you wish to attend, send flowers or make a donation.

James will be fondly remembered by the Institute. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
