French newspaper, Liberation, published an edition of their paper last week entirely without photographs, highlighting the importance of professional photography.

The completely text based edition, with large white spaces where photographs should have appeared, comes at a time when photographers are being laid off, yet continuing to risk their lives covering conflict zones.
