Structure of the British Institute
A few years ago the Institute's management structure was revised so it's able to adapt to the ever-changing photographic industry quickly and effectively. We now have:
A Membership Services Advisory Board - of regional and national representatives from our membership.
A Board of Directors - elected from the Membership Services Advisory Board.
A Continuing Professional Development Advisory Board, focusing on education, training and qualifications.
All of these representatives are working photographers who give their time free of charge.
We also have a small team of staff based at our head office in Buckinghamshire.
