Calling all Wedding Photographers!
BIPP Partnership with 'BRIDES' Magazine

The BIPP has teamed up with Condé Nast "BRIDES" Magazine to produce a special supplement "THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO A PICTURE-PERFECT WEDDING" on professional wedding photography. The publishers will promote the BIPP and our members, showing how important it is to book a qualified, professional wedding photographer. They are currently contacting qualified members with details of how you can get involved (at a greatly discounted rate!).

BRIDES is the UK's best selling wedding magazine with a circulation of 68,349 and a readership of over 303,000. In the latest figures, BRIDES was the only bridal title to have a circulation increase - all other titles decreased their circulation. We can be guaranteed that we're getting the best exposure in the bridal market. Please take this opportunity to take part.

Contact Amanda Bolton, for more information on this special opportunity.

BIPP Defends Photographers Rights

Following a recent meeting with the Home Office minister, Vernon Coker MP, the BIPP continues to fight for photographers' rights. Click on the link below to a recent letter to the Sunday Telegraph by BIPP Chief Executive, Chris Harper.

In February the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 came into force. Section 76 of the new Act makes a photograph of a police constable a potential crime if police deem it likely to be useful to a terrorist.

We would hope to see clear guidelines on the use of the act made available to all concerned.
