Eric Jenkins Hon FBIPP
Eric has spent over 53 years working as a professional photographer within a Scientific Research Environment. Throughout his career, he has been involved with many aspects of specialist scientific imaging techniques and a wide spectrum of general photographic disciplines. He is currently working as a consultant for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. He is an Honorary Fellow of the BIPP which is his proudest attachment.




Bryn Griffiths FBIPP
Bryn has been an Advertising/Commercial photographer for more than 25 years. Commissioned by many major Brands and Global Corporations, his work can be seen across the world.

He is a Fellow of the BIPP and a QEP, a past national gold winner BIPP Commercial, International Loupe Award winner, PX3 winner, twice FEP Advertising Finalist, and twice Hasselblad Masters Finalist.



Charlotte Morgan
Having started out life planning to become a surgeon Charlotte Morgan fell into the photographic industry, leaving medical school to model. In 1993 she moved into representing fashion photographers launching Morgan Lockyer in 2002.

Progressing from fashion to advertising photography Charlotte has taken Morgan Lockyer from strength to strength simply because she loves photography, loves people and thrives on the challenges the advertising world brings. Charlotte is otherwise known for her love of riding fast bikes and pranging cars on track...she lives in the English countryside with her husband, three kids, two dogs, cat, gecko, snake, and sixteen pet ducks.




Gerry Coe FBIPP
Gerry Coe FBIPP, will have been a professional photographer for 50 years in 2013. His lifelong passion for photography encompasses not only the professional field but also the amateur camera clubs in Northern Ireland. He is President of his local camera club in Bangor, Co. Down.

Having covered most aspects of photography throughout his career he is best known for his both his Award winning Portraiture and his Fine Art images.

He is now exploring the medium of iPhone photography and has just recently received the first ever Fellowship for a panel of iPhone images from the BIPP. He is the first Double Fellow of the BIPP in Ireland and one of a very small group of double Fellows worldwide.

Tim Flach FBIPP
With decades of experience undertaking commissions for clients including National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, The Sunday Times, Stern Magazine, Gore Tex and Hermès, Tim Flach’s technical expertise and uniquely innovative approach to photographing animals has positioned him at the forefront of his field, helping to define this arena of photography as we know it. In his internationally acclaimed personal projects Equus, Dogs Gods and More Than Human, he has demonstrated an unparalleled understanding of how we read and respond to images of the natural world that continues to inform all areas of his practice. Possessing an enduring ability to challenge, surprise and provoke, Flach’s work provides a unique glimpse into the extraordinary nature and complexity of our relationship with animals.

Flach’s latest book More Than Human will be published by Abrams in October and the accompanying exhibition will be on display at Osborne Samuel Gallery in December. He lives in London with his wife and their son.


Roy Meiklejon FBIPP
Roy was delighted to accept the position of Honorary President of the BIPP in September 2011. He was also presented with The Fox Talbot Award by the Institute in June 2002 for his services to Professional Photography.

Roy, through his position as a Director of Towergate Camerasure has worked within the industry for over 20 years now and has enjoyed getting to know so many photographers over this period of time and relishing the camaraderie and friendship this engenders.

Also he particularly enjoys seeing the creativity in Fine Art photography and is always surprised at the high quality of images achieved within this arena.

Bella West FBIPP
Bella West has been at the forefront of the European social photography scene for the past twenty years. A specialist in natural light and location portraiture, Bella demonstrates how to successfully go beyond the norm with her use of composition and light in order to take something very ordinary - creating beautiful and sometimes thought provoking fine art portraits of children for her clients.

Bella is a passionate photographer, teacher and lecturer throughout Europe and is qualified as a Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photography, this year she heads up the BIPP National Awards as their Chair.



Kevin Pengelly FBIPP
Kevin Pengelly started his photographic life as a Motorsport photographer working for Motoring News & Autosport before starting his career as a wedding photographer. Kevin is a double wedding Fellow gaining his Fellowships with both the BIPP & MPA in weddings. Over recent years Kevin has won numerous awards for his creative wedding photography, including a Fellowship from the BIPP and the MPA. Kevin is a current qualified BIPP assessor and has assessed at many assessment days ay BIPP Head Office.




Saraya Cortaville FBIPP
Saraya Cortaville was the first female photographer to gain a BIPP Fellowship in studio portraiture in 2007. Saraya was the winner of the London Portrait Group photographer of the Year 2007 and was also nominated for the Peter Grugeon award for best Associate Panel in 2005.

Saraya currently runs a highly successful studio in London specialising in contemporary portraiture. Saraya is also a qualified BIPP Mentor and Qualifications Assessor.



Tom Hoops 
Tom Hoops, British self-taught photographer specializing in portrait and fashion photography.Regularly traveling between Asia and Europe, Tom’s work has been described as magnetic and dark, heavy and original.





Steve Macleod
Steve has been at the forefront of photographic imaging for over 20 years, collaborating with a vast network of clients. He is internationally recognised as one of the most creative photographic practitioners of his generation, and in 2004 he was awarded with a fellowship to the RSA for services to education and his industry.

He is currently a Director of Metro Imaging in London; one of the world’s leading Photography Production companies. Being passionate about photography, he commissions, curates and advises on many creative industry Boards and is a practising artist represented by Atlas Gallery in London.

Jacqui Matthews FBIPP
Jacqui’s career started at just 11 years old when, along with a couple of friends, she founded a camera club at school to further a growing interest in photography. Today she is a highly accomplished Wedding and Portrait Photographer with a (rare) Wedding Fellowship. Her gentle, Fine Art style has been awarded the highest accolades in the industry including Gold, Silver and Bronze in the BIPP National Awards 2012 and also two First Place and a Grand Award at WPPI 2012.




International Fellowship & Open Awards

Kevin Wilson Hon FBIPP
Kevin Wilson honed his photographic skills to encompass the current trends demanded by buyers of wedding and portrait photography today. The foundation of good photography is based on lighting and composition, this coupled with available light and the use of various reflectors and diffusers is where Kevin has developed his own style and brand of classical work with a contemporary twist.

Kevin is the only photographer to achieve multiple fellowships, in portrait and wedding, all with natural light, and both with the British Institute of Professional Photography. 2012 proved to be a very special year for me; I was honoured to receive Honorary Fellowship of BIPP in addition to his Fellowship in Documentary Portraiture, four in total, BIPP Fellowships.Kevin has been called upon by Kodak, Fuji, Master Photographers Association, British Institute of Professional  Photography, Hasselblad UK to represent their products throughout the UK.

Kevin has won many awards for his photography, including 17 Kodak European Gold Awards for outstanding photography. He has been voted Kodak UK Portrait Photographer of the Year on no less than 5 separate occasions.



Chris Harper FBIPP
Chris is Chief-Executive of the BIPP, and chairs the Board of Directors and the Advisory Boards of the BIPP.

A professional photographer of over twenty years, he trained at the School of Visual & Performing Arts, Westminster College, specialising in black and white hand printing. He then worked in High Street studios for several years, before setting up his own studio. Chris gained his Licentiateship in Portraiture (1989) and also holds Fellowships in both Management (2008) and Fitness Photography (2012).

He was the first person to gain a Fellowship in Fitness and the youngest ever President of the BIPP (2005-2007). Chris assesses and mentors photographers working towards qualification; he is also heavily involved in the development of young people through his work in a youth organisation.

Jo De Banzie FBIPP
Jo de Banzie is a London based Photographer, taking private and commercial commissions throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Specialising in storytelling through portraiture, Jo’s images have attracted a high profile client base. She is the recipient of many awards including the BIPP’s Best Fellowship Panel in 2010.





Russell Baston FBIPP
Russell is the BIPP Education Advisor and has been involved with teaching photography for more than 25 years and is passionate about the promotion of high quality photographic education. He also has his own practice and  is qualified in a wide range of photographic disciplines including Industrial Commercial, scientific, Fashion and FineArt.
