British Institute of Professional Photography Congratulates Members on Achieving Licentiate and Associate Qualifications The British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) is proud to announce that four of its members have achieved the Licentiate qualification, and three members have achieved the Associate qualification in the recent assessment. This was judged by a panel of six experts in their field and chaired by Dr Paul Wilkinson FBIPP, the Chair of Qualifications.
The Licentiate and Associate qualifications are internationally recognised as a mark of excellence and professionalism within the photographic industry. They are awarded to those who have demonstrated a high standard of technical skill and creative ability in their photographic work.
The following members have achieved the Licentiate qualification:
- Simon Jones LBIPP
- Claire Howes LBIPP
- Derek Vincent LBIPP
- Helen Spiegl LBIPP
The following members have achieved the Associate qualification:
- Imogen Moon ABIPP
- Mary McClymount ABIPP
- Lauren Irving ABIPP
The assessment process involved submitting a panel of work to five judges, who assessed each submission based on technical proficiency, creativity, and visual impact. The panel was chaired by Dr Paul Wilkinson, an accomplished photographer and educator with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Commenting on the achievement of the members, Dr Wilkinson said, “I am delighted to see these talented photographers achieve their Licentiate and Associate qualifications with the BIPP. Their dedication, passion, and hard work have been reflected in the high standard of their photographic work, and I am very excited to see them come back to a future qualification to take the next”.
