The Photography Show & The Video Show is back 17-20 September at the NEC Birmingham featuring 250+ brands and a packed programme of masterclasses, technique-led seminars and live demos. And it’s a must-attend for anyone whose business is photography or video production.
This year’s show is already nearly twice as big as the 2021 event and there will be a special focus on the professional togs too.
The Pro Lounge is making a comeback, along with the Pro Lounge Live sessions – which guarantee controversial yet constructive discussions about the current issues in the industry. The networking events (Happy Hours at the weekends and Pro Drinks reception on Monday evening) are also returning, to offer a wealth of opportunity to meet colleagues old and new. In addition, the Pro Masterclass has had an overhaul, and will examine key areas of running an imaging business; from building core skills around sales funnels and upping your earnings, to banishing imposter syndrome and diversifying services.
New this year is the On Location stage (which spotlights destination photography – think weddings, travel, street, nature and everything in between); the Video Hub, which will provide a platform on which to discover more about the video gear behind winning footage; and the Creator Stage, a centre of all that is online content creation. And that’s not all. We’ll be hosting our first Creator Playground – which will inject a bit of whimsical fun into your day, and may even spark some creative ideas. Audience favourites such as Behind the Lens, Photo Live and the Editing & Post-Production Suite will also offer packed programmes over the four days.
Of course, the icing on the cake is the exhibition floor. 250 brands. All the big names. Plenty to discover, try out and… buy, at exclusive prices to boot.
